Service Description

This class blends the vibrant dynamics of movements and musicality of salsa dance with the fluid isolations of bellydance. Both styles are rooted in social dance—born in community, meant to be shared, felt, and expressed. these forms carry history, culture, and joy through movement. This class will be focused on the salsa rhythm with a little taste of belly dance making it a “cultural salsita” What does the term salsa mean? Literally, salsa in Spanish means sauce. As we know a sauce is composed of different ingredients. In the same way salsa was inspired by different rhythms mainly coming from Cuba. Such as son, guaguanco, cha cha cha, mambo among others.
